THANK YOU from by-election candidates

Our candidates for the recent by-elections in Grays Riverside and the Homesteads on 1st December 2005, present their THANK YOU letters.

Paul Riley, Candidate for the Homesteads Ward.said,

" I would like to take the opportunity of thanking everyone on the Homesteads who voted for me in last week's by-election. This was my first by-election and I found the whole experience enjoyable especially listening to people's concerns and their anxieties. I will like to urge the residents who voted Liberal Democrats to support us again in the future.

" I will continue to work hard for the Homesteads residents in every way that I can with the assistance of my colleagues. Politics is about choices and I hope that in future the residents of the Homesteads will give the Liberal Democrats the opportunity of representing them on Thurrock Borough Council".

John Livermore, Candidate Grays Riverside Ward said,

" I would like to thank the residents of Grays Riverside who voted for me during the recent by-election. There are people in Grays Riverside who share our beliefs and we encourage them to continue supporting us. We will continue to fight your corner and speak up on your behalf and hold the council to account."
