Chafford Hundred residents appreciate the value of information provided by the widely read and freely distributed Thurrock Gazette and are disappointed that this our local newspaper is not freely available and delivered to all the households on Chafford Hundred.

We strongly feel that it is very unfair for some residents to pay at Newsagents for their copies of the Gazette whilst most residents have theirs delivered to their households free of charge.

We believe that all households on Chafford Hundred must be offered this facility on equal terms.

We the undersigned residents of Chafford Hundred are therefore calling on the proprietors of the Thurrock Gazette to demonstrate their sense of equality and fairness by making the informative and highly acclaimed weekly gazette more widely available to all residents on Chafford Hundred by means of free and regular delivery to each household on the estate.
